Meet the Principal

Dear Mt. Pleasant Elementary Ida Jew Academy Families, Staff, and Community,

It is with great joy and deep pride that I introduce myself as your new TK–5 Principal and California State Preschool Program Director. While this role is new, my connection to this community is not as I have had the privilege of serving the Mt. Pleasant school community for the past 11 years, first as a classroom teacher and most recently as a site and district administrator. This school has shaped me as an educator, and I do not take lightly the trust you place in me as I step into this new chapter of leadership.

I come to this role with a deep commitment to early childhood and elementary education and a belief that every child, from our preschoolers to our 5th graders, deserves a school experience that is joyful, rigorous, and rooted in belonging. Over the years, I have seen firsthand the strength, resilience, and brilliance of our students and the dedication of our families and staff. That is the foundation we build on together.

In the days and weeks ahead, I look forward to continuing the conversations, deepening the partnerships, and doing the work alongside all of you. My door is always open, and I welcome your ideas, your questions, and your voice.

Es para mí un gran placer y un profundo orgullo presentarme como su nueva directora para los grados TK a 5.º y directora del Programa Preescolar Estatal de California (CSPP). Aunque este cargo es nuevo para mí, mi vínculo con esta comunidad no es; he tenido el privilegio de servir a la comunidad escolar de Mt. Pleasant durante los últimos 11 años, primero como maestra y, más recientemente, como administradora tanto a nivel escolar como distrital. Esta escuela ha moldeado mi trayectoria como educadora, y valoro enormemente la confianza que depositan en mí al iniciar esta nueva etapa de liderazgo.

Asumo este puesto con un firme compromiso hacia la educación infantil y primaria, convencida de que todos los niños—desde los alumnos de preescolar hasta los de quinto grado—merecen una experiencia escolar alegre, rigurosa y basada en un fuerte sentido de pertenencia. A lo largo de los años, he sido testigo directo de la fortaleza, la resiliencia y el talento de nuestros estudiantes, así como de la dedicación de nuestras familias y del personal. Sobre esos cimientos construiremos juntos nuestro futuro.

Espero con ilusión continuar el diálogo, fortalecer nuestras alianzas y trabajar codo a codo con todos ustedes en los días y semanas venideros. Mi puerta está siempre abierta; recibo con agrado sus ideas, sus preguntas y sus opiniones.

Tôi vô cùng vui mừng và tự hào xin được giới thiệu mình là Hiệu trưởng mới (phụ trách khối lớp TK–5) kiêm Giám đốc Chương trình Mẩm non Tiểu bang California (CSPP) của quý vị. Dù đây là một vai trò mới, nhưng mối liên kết của tôi với cộng đồng này đã có từ lâu; tôi đã có vinh dự được phục vụ cộng đồng trường Mt. Pleasant trong suốt 11 năm qua, bắt đầu với chức giáo viên chủ nhiệm và gần đây nhất là nhà quản lý cấp trường và cấp học khu. Ngôi trường này đã giúp tôi trở thành một nhà giáo, và tôi luôn trân trọng sự tin tưởng mà quý vị dành cho tôi trong vai trò lãnh đạo này.

Tôi đảm nhận vị trí này với cam kết mạnh mẽ đối với giáo dục mầm non và tiểu học, cùng niềm tin rằng mọi học sinh—từ các em lớp mầm non đến học sinh lớp 5—đều xứng đáng có được trải nghiệm học đường tràn đầy niềm vui, chất lượng cao và mang lại cảm giác thân quen. Trong những năm qua, tôi đã tận mắt chứng kiến ​​sức mạnh, sự kiên cường và trí tuệ của các em học sinh, cũng như sự tận tâm của các gia đình và đội ngũ nhân viên. Đó chính là nền tảng để chúng ta cùng nhau xây dựng và phát triển.

Trong thời gian tới, tôi rất mong được tiếp tục các cuộc đối thoại, thắt chặt quan hệ hợp tác và cùng sát cánh làm việc với tất cả quý vị. Cánh cửa văn phòng của tôi luôn rộng mở, và tôi luôn hoan nghênh mọi ý tưởng, câu hỏi cũng như ý kiến ​​đóng góp từ quý vị.
